Hylander, Clarence John: - C. J. Hylander (1897-1964) graduated from Yale University with a Ph.D. and was professor of and Chairman of the Botany Department at Colgate University form 1933 to 1943. He was also executive director of the American Institute of Biological Sciences. He was the author of several books on animals and plants.
