This silent melodrama set in the Canadian wilderness stars Lon Chaney as Gaspar the Good, a miner who becomes obsessed with revenge after rival Benson (Alan Hale) steals both Gaspar's mine and the woman he loves. Years later, the chance to get even comes when Benson shoots a man in self-defense and is sent to jail after Gaspar, the sole witness, refuses to clear him.
