The Prospected Family: Volumes from the Void: Book I - Paperback

Time to meet The Prospected Family: The first of five stories in the Volumes from the Void Series, written by talented debut author, Mike Ekstrom.

This dramatic tale redefines what Life and Darkness are about. In the center of reality, woven between the folds of this realm and the next exists Mother and Father. They were the beginning; their selfish actions fabricated the four corners of the Universe and established Life as we know it, and now, the fate of what happens next rests on the shoulders of those they call their children.

Six extraordinary siblings attempt to maintain the Balance between forces, while furthering the machinations of their Creators. As uncertainty arises within the Void of Impossible Things, and with stability of the After-Life and Pre-Life imperiled, what happens when the gifts and knowledge given to each of the siblings turns into ambition? What happens when Creators fall? Where do Demigods go when they are being hunted? There's only one who can stand up to the weight of the encroaching Darkness and carry the will to fight the imbalance...

"With an undeniable passion for detail, Ekstrom's unique storytelling takes you to a new, yet familiar world. As a series of events and power struggle within a family of Demigods unfolds, this fantasy tale has a striking human element that blurs the lines between fiction and reality. With a finale that had me in tears, I highly recommend this first in series and anxiously wait for the next." - Chris G.
