Description
In the mid-1910s, Armenian apothecary Mikael Boghosian (Oscar Isaac) journeyed to Constantinople with the backing of his in-laws to pursue medical training... and found himself vying with American reporter Chris Myers (Christian Bale) for the attentions of the Paris-raised Ana Khesarian (Charlotte Le Bon). With the coming of World War I-and the Ottoman government's genocidal campaign against the Armenian populace-all three faced a perilous journey to try and secure the safety of Mikael's family.
