Ithaca, Greece, 13th Century B.C. in a faux Regency setting.
Odysseus Halstead, the Duke of Ithaca, is looking for a wife, and he has chosen Lady Penelope Auckland, only child of Earl Icarius Auckland. The two are very much falling in love, and Odysseus believes that Penelope will make a suitable partner in the managing of his estate, as well as contributing to his overall happiness.
But all is not perfect; Odysseus is not the only man pining for Penelope's affections. Viscount Antinous Capshaw seeks to make Penelope his own, and is willing to do anything necessary to succeed. Moreover, the growing conflict between Greece and Troy promises to overwhelm her people entirely if a solution is not agreed upon, and soon.
Will love triumph in the end? Will peace arise between Greece and Troy? Or will darker emotions feed the growing conflicts on both foreign and domestic shores? Read The Duke of Ithaca to find out!
