فرضية السعادة - The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisd - Paperback

The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom by Jonathan Haidt explores one of life's most important questions: what makes a meaningful and happy life?

Blending ancient philosophy with modern psychology, Haidt examines ideas from traditions such as Buddhism, Stoicism, and Confucianism, then evaluates them using scientific research. He introduces key concepts like the divided self (the "rider and the elephant"), the role of emotions, and the importance of relationships, purpose, and virtue.

The book provides evidence-based insights into well-being, resilience, and personal growth, showing how happiness depends not only on external conditions but also on mindset and behavior. Rather than offering simple advice, it delivers practical and scientifically grounded strategies for achieving balance in modern life.

The Arabic translation by Ahmed Al-Madlouh makes this influential work accessible to Arabic readers, offering a valuable guide to understanding happiness through both wisdom and science.
