The Gathas Of Zarathustra, Zoroaster: In Metre And Rhythm (1900) - Paperback

The Gathas of Zarathustra, Zoroaster: In Metre and Rhythm is a book written by Lawrence Heyworth Mills in 1900. The book is a translation of the Gathas, the oldest and most sacred hymns of the Zoroastrian religion, which were composed by the prophet Zarathustra (Zoroaster) over 3,000 years ago. The Gathas are written in a unique meter and rhythm, which Mills attempts to preserve in his translation. In addition to the translation, the book also includes a detailed introduction to the Zoroastrian religion, its history, and its beliefs. The book is considered a classic work on Zoroastrianism and is still widely studied by scholars and enthusiasts of the religion today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
