The Cantos II: The Artist's Book of Hours is an interdisciplinary literary work that merges poetry, prose, and philosophical reflection to examine the ontology of the artist and the process of creative becoming.
Drawing from Romanticism and modern continental philosophy, the text engages with the works of Nietzsche, Kant, and Jean-Luc Nancy to explore themes such as:
- The nature of artistic inspiration and the Muse
- The fragment as a philosophical and poetic form
- The relationship between beauty, truth, and the sublime
- The interplay between presence and absence in artistic creation
- The artist's journey as a non-linear, evolving process
Structured as a series of cantos, the book traces the artist's trajectory through imagination, perception, and creation, positioning art not as a finished product but as an ongoing engagement with the infinite.
