The Buried Curse - Paperback

Mark Woodstill, a twenty-one-year-old college student, is drowning in grief after the death of his grandfather, the person he loved and trusted more than anyone. Desperate to escape the weight of a life that no longer feels his own, he joins old friends and a former love interest on a weekend camping trip deep within the Appalachian Mountains, on land his grandfather once owned and feared.

Since childhood, Mark has been haunted by nightmares born from the stories and fables his grandfather used to tell him. Tales of a presence known only as the Dread-Form. He always believed they were nothing more than stories shaped by age and fear.

As the camping trip unfolds, reality itself begins to fracture around him. Vivid hallucinations, shifting environments, and the slow collapse of truth and illusion force Mark to question everything he sees and hears. As buried secrets begin to surface, he discovers a generational curse woven into his bloodline, one that reaches far deeper than he ever imagined. With each passing moment, his own mind begins turning against him, leading him toward a path stained with brutality and loss.

The Buried Curse is a grief-soaked psychological horror novel about fear, inheritance, and the terrifying reality of losing yourself while fighting something you cannot see, touch, or fully understand. Some curses do not die.

They only wait.
