The Alchemy of Azathoth is book three in the series Disclosure from The Necronomicon Fragment by Giuseppe Balsamo. Building on the work of the Kathu Journals out of Lovecraft's Providence, the book explores the relation of the cosmic horror of mad Azathoth to the Demiurge of Gnosticism. Balsamo explores the the relation of Alchemy to Azathoth, in that its goal is to transcend the rules of matter with the rules of the cosmos. However, in this case, what is explored is the dread implications of an Alchemy of Azathoth.
