Professor Nate Johnston is a Human entomologist, conducting research in the Amazon Rainforest. But after some very tense moments, they become enchanted with each other and decide to go on a little adventure, galivanting about the Milky Way in Dewey's spaceship...only to get into more trouble than they ever bargained for. Their time together is short, but their unique, intergalactic friendship is sealed forever by the experiences they share, and in a cliff-hanger ending it is obvious that more interaction between Humans and Aliens is on the horizon.
