The worst was definitely behind me. I'd survived my childhood, which was really saying a lot. It was time for me to enjoy life as a college student. Party with some friends, flirt and maybe even date a nice guy. It was time for me to move away from my past. When my twenty-first birthday approached, however, my mother's past returned to claim something that should be rightfully mine. I always thought it was hard having a mother that told me demons were coming for me. A mother that tried to kill me in order to save my soul. But then I started seeing a demon everywhere I went, and he told me he had a claim to my soul. I started to worry that maybe my mother knew something the rest of us didn't. Now I'll have to find a way to save myself, and prove to those closest to me that the demon I'm seeing is real.
