Details: A great writer and singer of Cowboy songs, Rusty Richards is a true cowboy who appeared in many Western films and TV shows including Rawhide, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, Bonanza and Have Gun-Will Travel. During his long career in Western music, Rusty sang tenor with the Sons of the Pioneers for a span of 20 years, beginning in 1963, and was the Pioneers' first true yodeler since Roy Rogers. Presented here is a collection of some of Rusty's best loved recorded performances including "The Convict And the Rose," "Diamond in the Rough" and "Scarlett Ribbons." All selections newly re-mastered.
