He has been the recipient of numerous awards, and has backed a wide variety of artists, from Sonny Rollins to Van Morrison. Perhaps best known as the composer and performer of the theme for the hit TV series, All in the Family, Kellaway is better known to jazz fans for his innovative Cello Quartet recordings of the 1970s. Presented here is his rare solo piano recording, simply titled "Solo Piano," originally released in 1978 and finally seeing the light of day in the digital realm.
