Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai manga begins with this first volume and the library encounter that pulls Sakuta off his track.
Sakuta Azusagawa is prickly, keeps his distance and gets by without a phone. As the Golden Week break ends he meets a girl in a bunny outfit in a quiet library, and a very odd romance gets going.
Coming from the anime
Amazon reviewers say it holds up whether or not you have watched the series, and one parent reports a teenager who was thrilled with it.
From the publisher
"Forget what you saw today." There's something odd about Sakuta Azusagawa, an acerbic, standoffish high schooler who doesn't even own a cell phone in this day and age. And perhaps strange things happen to strange people, which is why on the last day of the Golden Week holiday, in a tranquil library, he meets a wild bunny girl.
With that unforgettable encounter, their bizarre and mysterious love story begins.
