Otis, Jeff: - "His first book, Raptor Lands, was published in March 2024. Currently, he has three other completed drafts of novels that are in the process of editing. His short stories appear in various anthologies, including A Diversity of Expressions, Woven Pathways, and Holes in Our Hearts. He received first-place in the humor category for a story called The Gift from Southwest Writers in 2023. Before his passion for writing took over his life, he spent much of my time as an award-winning professional oil painter. He has a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a master's in mathematics and statistics from the University of New Mexico. He taught for 10 years in the public schools after working as a statistician for 16 years. Art, writing, math, anthropology - he is a puzzle made up of pieces many people would say don't fit together. He is married and has a wonderful family.
