Joe holds a bachelor's degree in television and film, as well as a master's in social work. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Planet W is his first book. She grew up on a rescue farm and nature preserve giving her a deep appreciation for animals and nature. So when she chose to become a professional artist, creatures of all kinds both real and fantasy became her focus. Although she's been switching back and forth from full-time portrait painter, mixed-media sculptor, and illustrator since 2007, it's writing and illustrating stories that have captivated her the most. Cara works in traditional and digital drawing and painting mediums, creating a variety of fantastical illustrations for picture books, middle grade and young adult novels.
