The years he would spend concocting multiple plans for escape, and the symbiotic bond for survival inside he built with unprepossessing counterfeiter Louis Dega (Rami Malek), are grippingly recounted in this second screen take on Charrière's 1969 memoir; Tommy Flanagan, Eve Hewson, Roland Møller, Michael Socha also star. 137 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
