Smart, industrious Brooklyn teenager Chantel Mitchell (Ariyan Johnson) wanted out of the neighborhood, and was laser-focused on earning early high school graduation on the way to achieving a medical degree. With some of the dicey life choices she makes on the way there, though, she might prove too clever for her own good.
