Life can be complicated.

We all experience periods of stress, self-doubt, worry, disappointment and change. We struggle with relationships, parenting, work pressures, body image, ageing, difficult emotions and the challenge of simply trying to live well.

Drawing on her popular Canberra Weekly psychology column, clinical psychologist Dr Vivienne Lewis offers practical, evidence-based insights into the issues that

affect us all.

Written in a warm and accessible style, these short chapters translate psychological science into everyday language, providing realistic strategies, thoughtful perspectives and gentle encouragement for navigating life's challenges.

Whether you are facing a difficult period, supporting someone you care about, or simply looking for greater understanding and balance, you will find reassurance

within these pages.

Because sometimes the most comforting thing to discover is that it's not just you.
