The notion of subjectivity is one of the most fundamental notions for modern philosophy that only gains in importance in present-day discussions. Karel Novotný is Assistant Professor at the Charles University Prague and Scientific Assistant at the Philosophical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Inga Römer, Ph.D in Philosophy, is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. She has published on phenomenological ethics and on the phenomenological notions of time and subjectivity including Das Zeitdenken bei Husserl, Heidegger und Ricoeur (Springer, 2010).
László Tengelyiis Professor of Philosophy at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal in Germany. He has published extensively on phenomenology including The Wild Region in Life-History (Northwestern UP, 2004), Erfahrung und Ausdruck (Springer, 2007) and Neue Phänomenologie in Frankreich (Suhrkamp, 2011).
