In socialist Czechoslovakia, all teenagers faced mandatory conscription as labor for the seasonal hop harvest-and during a summer in their adolescent camp community, handsome, arrogant Honza (Milos Zavadil) and intellectual, standoffish Filip (Vladimír Pucholt) would find romantic rivalry over Westernized, willful Hanka (Ivana Pavlová). Resonant and remarkable "East Side Story" youth musical with a cult following also stars Josef Kemr, Irena Kacírková, Libuse Havelková. 93 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: Czech; Subtitles: English. In Czech with English subtitles. Region Free
