The Warwicks love a good house party, but this one may be the death of them.
Since inheriting a billion pounds and a title, Philip and Genevieve Warwick have experienced life as few can imagine. They live in luxury, travel in style, hobnob with the global elite, and use their wealth and position to champion art around the world. They have estates and chateaux in Europe, an old and respected family name, a loyal and dedicated staff-everything they could possibly want. They've even inherited a family ghost.
But all is not Champagne and Chagalls.
When the Warwicks are invited to a ski chalet-let's face it, it's a castle-in the Austrian Alps by Baron Friedrich "Freddie" von Bassewitz to enjoy some skiing and talk some art business with a few mutual friends, they've barely unpacked before the mountains are engulfed in a wicked blizzard and the castle is snowed in. Now Freddie, his wife, and the family patriarch are behaving oddly. Worse, just before the blizzard sets in, Philip and Genevieve are contacted by DCI Francis Darlington of the Met, who pulls them into his search for art stolen in a Boston heist thirty-five years ago.
Fortune's Final Frenzy is a classic whodunit in the Agatha Christie style that will keep you reading to the last satisfying page.
