Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the United States for youth and adults alike, leaving behind devastated family and friends. If you have lost a loved one to suicide, the inspiring book Finding Solace After Suicide is designed to support you. Suzanna's world as she knew it, shattered after the death of her son. Mending the broken pieces of her life took on the concept of reclaiming and repairing with the beauty of Kintsugi, highlighting rather than hiding the damage. The eight chapters in the book offer a path from the initial shock to long-term healing and honoring a loved one. Effective practical suggestions help you process the mental, emotional, and physical complexities of grief. Astonishing spiritual visitations and synchronicities offer comfort and hope. The depths of grief are shared with an authentic, unapologetic voice. Resources, coping strategies, and self-care practices are shared in the appendix to assist you in recovering a life of purpose, compassion, gratitude, and peace.

Alexander, Suzanna May: - Suzanna Alexander graduated from Tufts University in 1964 and worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings for fifty years. After retirement and her son's death she served clients in her private office focusing on spiritual healing. Beginning in the 80's she taught workshops and gave lectures around the United States, teaching nurses and other health care providers non-pharmacological ways to reduce pain and stress. She was a trainer for childbirth educators and a noted keynote speaker for twenty years. Spiritual pilgrimages to Egypt, India, Greece, Peru, and Nepal opened her to ways of healing in other cultures. Walking the 500-mile Camino de Santiago prepared her to hear the spiritual guidance that led her through her grief walk. She lives in Georgia on a farm with her husband, Lawrence.
