Discontent: A Psychological Body-Horror Story Inspired by William Shakespeare - Paperback

Something is rotten in William Shakespeare.

In 1597, a play is published by William Shakespeare. What began as a history, ended up as a tragedy. It is the story of Richard the Third, the last King of the Plantagenets--an enemy of Queen Elizabeth, England's current monarch.

But what if Richard the Third was not always a tragedy, a vilification of the very real man thusly made monstruous, but what if it began as a heroic history? Not a true story, nor a history, but inspired by one, DISCONTENT is a story about William Shakespeare's life, and his decision to make his play Richard the Third a tragedy.

This is a story about vilification, and what happens when we pursue fame first.

This is a story of an artist who sacrifices everything for fame...even himself.

Now is the hour of Shakespeare's discontent.

Inspired by the real life of William Shakespeare, The Tragedy of Richard the Third, the real Richard the Third, and Christopher Marlow's Doctor Faustus. DISCONTENT is body-horror historical fiction short-story about the price of fame and the death of the creative, and what happens when we fall prey to the propaganda of the privileged.
