Cores of Eb - Paperback

Arkin Aspers doesn't know where to go from here.

The 33-year-old man always had an intimate knowledge of his region's main resource, Antesium, especially using it to craft his popular toys for the children of Alpha Memorial. But his creativity and connection to the people begins and ends there, among the debris of scrap metal and unfinished projects-until Arkin uncovers a mysterious piece of metal.

He senses that something is off with it. However, its strange activation also draws the interest of a group of highly trained, secret operatives who compete to identify and confiscate this find.

Now, Arkin must follow the group of spies closer than he'd like to show them a defect hidden in the resource and its connection to a sudden attack on Alpha Memorial. Thrown together, the unlikely allies spearhead a search to uncover the source of corruption. As they get closer to the truth, the harder it becomes for Arkin to distance himself from his past, his city, and his new team.

A series of high-stakes obstacles and unexpected challenges force Arkin and the others to each reveal their own skill sets. After all of their own unique resources run out, Arkin gets that the true understanding of a raw resource happens when you wield it.
