Cleo & Bess: Rivals in Time - Paperback

Cleopatra VII of Egypt and Elizabeth I of England, two legends, but what if history's greatest Queens met and became friends and allies... until they weren't?

London, England, 1554: A terrified young princess, Elizabeth Tudor, is locked in the Tower by her mean sister, Mary. Meanwhile, 1,600 years earlier, a young Cleopatra is exiled, seeking a way to reclaim her throne. It all seems hopeless for both of them. Then a mysterious man with an impossible device whisks both of them away, transporting them to 1950s Hollywood. The two young women learn to love the modern world, flying in planes, driving in jeeps, shopping in department stores, and hanging out with the stars of the silver screen. Then Cleopatra's ambition takes over. Now she's rewriting history, ruling Roman generals, American politicians, and building an empire that spans centuries. Only Elizabeth can stop Cleopatra before she takes over the World, forever! From the Tower of London to the Hollywood Hills, from ancient Alexandria to a planet in the distant future, two queens will decide the fate of humanity. Because legends aren't born, they create each other.
