Cora and Ronan have been chosen to represent their zones at the Mating Grounds-a genetic diversity breeding program run by the government. Can they choose a mate before their year is up or will they be assigned to someone and lose out on their chance at a love match?
Cora has been homesteading with her family in the wastes for most of her life. After moving to the city and being appalled with her choice in suitors, she's chosen and sent to The Mating Grounds. Will she be able to find her perfect match or will she be continually disappointed in love?
Ronan is one of the last eligible men in his Zone. When he's sent away to The Mating Grounds to find a partner, he makes a horrible first impression. Can he overcome his embarrassment and rectify the situation before his ideal girl writes him off for good?
If you enjoy dystopian romances (like Katniss and Peeta's), a race to partner up (are they your type 'on paper'?) and a shot of heavy angst, then you'll love Chosen for You.
Ciree Hawthorn is a voracious reader turned indie author. After swimming laps in the creative job pool- working in fashion design, being a small business owner, and trying her hand at illustration- she thinks writing is the calling that suits her best. Born and raised in the Midwest, she now lives in the PNW with her husband and their two dogs, Arya and Ripley. The whole crew is usually found cuddled up on the couch watching sci-fi movies or out playing pub trivia.
