Writer/director Ann Turner's acclaimed but relatively unknown film mixes drama, fable, and an eerie journey towards madness with the story of 9-year-old Celia (Rebecca Smart), a girl whose community in rural 1957 Australia has been beset by fears of communism and an inexplicable plague of rabbits. Celia's desire for a pet bunny sets in motion a truly unique and unsettling coming-of-age tale. Nicholas Eadie, Victoria Longley co-star. AKA: "Celia: Child of Terror." 103 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English. Region Free
