Mint Jams - CD

Casiopea's Mint Jams is a Japanese CD album reissue and remaster from the Village DSD Mastering Series (catalog number VRCL 2227), released on February 14, 2002 by Village Records. Originally recorded live at Chuo Kaikan Hall in Tokyo on February 23 and 24, 1982 and later remixed at ALFA Studio A, this acclaimed jazz fusion release features the classic lineup of Issei Noro on guitar, Minoru Mukaiya on keyboards, Tetsuo Sakurai on bass, and Akira Jimbo on drums. The album includes seven tracks: Take Me, Asayake, Midnight Rendezvous, Time Limit, Domino Line, Tears Of The Star, and Swear. This edition was DSD remastered by Toshiya Horiuchi and preserves the dynamic sound and musicianship that have made Mint Jams one of Casiopea's most celebrated recordings.
