Carol Gilligan has devoted her life to discovering, uncovering, and recovering voices belonging to girls and women, as well as boys and men.

Bill Cole is a school psychologist based in New Jersey. He is also an adjunct professor of developmental psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University, in which he teaches Carol Gilligan's Ethic of Care model. He has been a guest columnist for the Newark Star-Ledger, writing numerous articles on public education, child development, and politics. He is also an award-winning fiction writer, whose work has appeared in Highlights for Children Magazine.

Sarah Green graduated from RISD in 2014 with a BFA in Illustration and began her career in children's books in 2015, with over a dozen solo-illustrated picture books, as well as several covers and middle grade books. She has also illustrated a line of stationary for Trader Joes, had a regular role illustrating a column in the New York Times, and has worked with a range of editorial clients, including Sephora, The British Library, and Hearst Corporation. Sarah received her MFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2021, and currently teaches in the Illustration Department there alongside working as a full-time illustrator.
