Blight of a Bat - Paperback

Reeling from the Shadow attacks on Litha, Daire is determined to destroy the Shadows and the malevolent entity threatening everything that she knows. With the help of Daire's ancestral mentor and Sabrina, her cousin forbidden to practice magick, they embark on a path of ancient magick set to destroy the Shadows. As Daire sinks further into her power and uncovers the truth of her lineage, the line between friend and foe begins to distort as vengeance leads her to a chance at self-preservation.

Recovering from his near fatal wounds, Niko finds himself the new target of the eldritch entity. When a past lover returns offering relief in the form of booze and pills, he accepts the escape from reality and turns his back on everyone he once loved. Isolated from his friends, Niko makes a bargain with the Shadows that costs him more than his sanity.

Secrets come to light and seeds of betrayal are sown as the Shadows strengthen their army of the Otherworld. When morals fall prey to the dark, the monsters confronted are more than mere Shadows.
