Dr. Jessica LaMae Whited is a biologist and assistant professor at Harvard University. Her lab investigates how axolotls regenerate limbs. Jessica earned undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Biological Sciences at the University of Missouri and a PhD in Biology at MIT. Her scientific career was sparked by exploring woods and fields as a child. Jessica loves axolotls because they hold so many mysteries.
Bethany Lord is an illustrator based in London, UK. She started drawing from a very young age and now works in children's book illustration. She draws on her experiences from traveling and experiencing different cultures to create new pieces of work.
