Earth-born Doctor Faye Heson has always believed in freedom. When hers is taken from her after she is kidnapped and forced to the isolated space habitat of Atlas Station, she's ready to fight anyone who gets in her way. When her connection to a Councilmember is made public knowledge, her new life is threatened. Troubles are stirring in the station's underbelly. The mayor is murdered, and an anti-council group makes themselves known. Faye must learn to protect herself and those she loves while coming to the realization that freedom and safety are privileges not all can afford.
