In Victorian England, intrepid journalist Sonya Winter (Diana Rigg) confronts mysterious tycoon Ivan Dragomiloff (Oliver Reed) with her knowledge that he's in fact the mastermind of a cabal formed by the world's top hired killers. Intrigued, Dragomiloff takes her sizeable cash bet to order a hit on himself... and get his minions before they can get him.
