The fan-favorite world of Marvel 2099 goes cosmic, introducing a host of new heroes based on classic icons of today!

When a remote town on a far-off world is devastated by the ravenous, unforgiving Knull Set, a gang of raiders and thieves obsessed with offering up all life to the darkness, a stranger arrives from the stars who answers to his own code. The sole survivor of Xandar -- the last Nova! Wakandan tech goddess Star Lord guards the solar systems from villains like Quasar, the Living Star! Ross Romero is the all-new Red Hulk, whose cosmic strength and hyperspace jumps are fueled by the power primordial! Will that be enough to defeat Terrax, the Planet Hunter? A Faustian pact means Jonah Marlo must collect souls for his master as the Silver Surfer of 2099! Plus: As Dracula defends his new planet from a Darkhawk, does he fight to save it or make it the first outpost in his new empire?

Steve Orlando made a name for himself at DC Comics, writing Wonder Woman, various Batman titles and Martian Manhunter. His Midnighter series and its sequel Midnighter and Apollo were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award. Orlando arrived at Marvel to celebrate a legendary character's 50th anniversary across three Curse of the Man-Thing one-shots. Orlando contributed to Marvel's Voices: Pride and returned to the intersection of super-heroics and horror with the Darkhold storyline.

Dale Eaglesham started out penciling series peripheral to the mainstream Marvel Universe: Guardians of the Galaxy, Savage Sword of Conan, What If? and others. When he moved to DC, his artwork appeared in Justice Society of America and spinoff miniseries Thy Kingdom Come, and multiple Batman titles -- including Detective Comics, Gotham Knights, Legends of the Dark Knight and Shadow of the Bat. He returned to Marvel to illustrate Jonathan Hickman's Fantastic Four, Captain America in the Steve Rogers: Super-Soldier miniseries and the complete run of the relaunched Alpha Flight. Elsewhere, he has penciled Eternal Warrior at Acclaim, Sigil at CrossGen and the Creep feature in Dark Horse Presents.

Up-and-coming Brazilian artist Ibraim Roberson has worked on Avengers/X-Men: Utopia and New Mutants for Marvel. He has also illustrated author Max Brooks' The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks.

After getting his start as an intern at WildStorm Productions, artist Pete Woods went on to illustrate such WildStorm titles as StormWatch, Wetworks and Backlash. Moving to Marvel, he drew issues of Excalibur before joining writer Joe Kelly on Deadpool. At DC, he penciled a four-year run on Robin, later working on Action Comics with writers Geoff Johns and Paul Cornell, and the miniseries Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton with cowriters James Robinson and Sterling Gates.
