In 2021, after the death of her estranged mother, the author revisited her Greenwich Village youth through inherited photos, letters, and her own bittersweet recollections- thus inspiring her to create this memoir. Diane Emma lives with her husband in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and has two grown children.
