You've excused yourself to the bathroom during another gallagher at the bar. Your reflection is staring too hard at you from the mirror. You question if there's something there.

Are you possessed? Is this mental affliction demonic? Or does it just feel like it is? Our protagonist Laura, hasn't a single clue and is powerless against its influence

She doesn't realize it, but her world is falling apart.

-- A novella not for the faint of heart.

Laura Aalders is many things. A businesswoman who works for an advertising agency, a loving and supportive wife, a decent cook, and an upstanding, empathetic citizen. However, when her creepy boss oversteps boundaries in the workplace, what occurs next blurs the line between demonic possession and a loss of sanity. Regardless of what it is, her sense of autonomy is in peril as she loses control of her work, love, and life. Her reflection begins to talk to her; she blacks out and, remembers nothing, develops cravings for alcohol and human flesh. She'll lash out, thrash, and cry as she desperately tries to gain back control, but to no avail.

A Creepy Boss, Rubbery Eggs, and Exploding Heads: A Story of Possession is a harrowing tale detailing the emotional struggle a victim of abuse or assault may feel facing in their daily life-a paranormal reflection of the reality of one's inner turmoil. The book appeals to readers of Horror Fiction, Paranormal, Suspense, and Thrillers, in similar vain to Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar, Sara Gann's Come Closer, and Tell Me I'm Worthless by Alison Rumfitt. It's the perfect cloudy afternoon entertainment. Best served with some strong tea for grounding.
