World for Ransom

WORLD FOR RANSON Frenesie is a nightclub singer who seeks out her old flame and war veteran Mike Callahan, to tell him her suspicions about her husband, Julian. Callahan is now working as a private detective. For a while the singer considers more with the masculine Irish soldier of fortune; however, the romance quickly loses it's focus as drama takes over in World For Ransom. Callahan is soon convinced that Frenesie's fears are valid. Julian is indeed involved in a plot to kidnap a renowned nuclear scientist - one of only three men in the world with the ability to detonate an H-Bomb. Callahan learns that Julian plans to ransom the scientist off to the highest bidder and sets out to foil his evil deeds. This flick uses the same cast, crew and set from the TV series "China Smith."
