With Liberty & Justice - Paperback

Texas 1902... Jack Taylor grew up on his parents' horse farm near the small town of Grace, outside of Waco, Texas. When a wealthy benefactor chose him to come to Austin and attend law school, Jack jumped at the chance to leave home. His boss began grooming him for a career in public office, and Jack liked the idea of making a difference in people's lives. A tragic incident at the Driskill Hotel turned him into a hero, and he found himself running for office two years earlier than planned. After a striking, gray-eyed woman takes an interest in him, Jack can't imagine his life being any better. But it doesn't take long for him to learn that life isn't equal for everyone, and his attempts to try to change things could end his career before it even started. To make matters worse, long-buried family secrets could destroy everything. The Taylor Family Saga continues in the third generation with Jack's story.
