Author turned magazine Editor-in-Chief, Will Estell (Beaches, Resorts & Parks magazine; Alabama College & Career Guide; Gulf Coast Bride, and over a hundred published freelance magazine articles) has been involved in many businesses over the past two decades, both as an owner and by contracting his creative and sales management services to small and large companies alike. From humble beginnings in his early twenties in health club management to the advertising sales to becoming a nationally publised writer, magazine editor and ad sales managaer to now being publisher of two current newsstand publications, Will Estell has had experience in the conception, marketing, staffing, management and sale of various businesses -some positive, some not so much so, but all serving as great learning experiences both for himself and those who read, learn from, and use his insightful and simple advice within these pages of Wisdom & Wisecracks for the Aspiring Business Owner. For the past ten year Estell has been involved in, among other businesses, the niche market magazine business where he has been instrumental in helping to bring numerous new magazines to market for regional and national publishers. An avid writer, he has served in capacities from managing editorial and advertising sales for titles from the golf market to travel, wedding, and automobile magazines. He is currently the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Destin, Florida based, and nationally distributed newsstand title Beaches, Resorts & Parks magazine, as well as being the owner of newly formed, Alabama based, indie book publisher, Beach Mountain Press, LLC., and Career Solutions' educational magazine: Alabama College & Career Guide. Originally from North Mississippi, Estell lives in Oxford, Alabama with his beautiful wife, Amy, but spends a lot of his time in and near the beautiful beach towns of Destin, Florida. He is the father of three wonderful children; Channing, Blake and Bentley Estell. When he isn't working he is often coaching little league, running, or playing with cars...real ones.
