First published in 2019, 'Why I am an Atheist and Other Works' is an essay written by Bhagat Singh, a charismatic Indian revolutionist who partook in the mistaken murder of a junior British police officer in what was to be revenge for the death of an Indian nationalist.
A dialogue with a confidante soon diverted into a point of self-assessment for Bhagat Singh, directing him to a lesson on why he was determined to be an atheist. In another event, he was dissatisfied with his father's request in Court for his blamelessness and chose to write a letter to him.
