Deslee has visited Israel nine times, the first being in January 1970.
During Passover 1990 Deslee was one of three
Australians to visit the U.S.S.R.
Since 1988 Deslee, and her late husband John, .they lived with their three sons and their adopted daughter in Sydney
and attend a local Anglican Church in Sydney,
