Sharing her own personal experiences and those of others, Lock gives readers, both single and married, a plan grounded in the ageless wisdom of the Bible, yet geared toward the issues and pitfalls of modern-day life. Timely topics she covers include:
- Commitment: Being responsible and conducting yourself appropriately in word and deed.
- Parenting: How to act as a role model and thus train children to value life, respect themselves and others and trust in the Lord.
- Honoring Vows: Working at your marriage even through difficult times, yet recognizing a dangerous situation and learning how to get out of it safely and permanently.
Virtuous assessments at the end of each chapter give readers assignments lasting 12 weeks--the optimum amount of time to turn a habit into a behavior. Sprinkled throughout are biblical quotations that lead readers to see that by believing and trusting in God, they shall find ultimate salvation and never have to walk life's path alone.
