She studied at Harvard Divinity School, General Theological Seminary, Columbia University, and Princeton University.

Anne Winchell Silver is a spiritual director and Stephen Ministry Leader at Grace Church Brooklyn Heights, and is the author of Trustworthy Connections: Interpersonal Issues in Spiritual Direction. She studied at General Theological Seminary, Fordham University, New York University, and William Smith College.
