Where is Mommy? is a tender children's picture book that helps young hearts understand grief after the loss of a mother. Through the gentle voice of a child name Braxton readers will follow the honest questions kids often ask--Where did she go?
Does she still love me? Why does it feel like she's near? With comforting reassurance from Dad and a faith-forward message of hope, the story explains that Love does not disappear when someone dies--it simply changes where it lives.
Written after the real life loss of Kelsey Thompson Wallace, this book offers families an emotionally safe way to talk about death, heaven and continuing bonds. It is designed to support children as they name their feelings, feel protected and remember that they are still deeply loved.
A calming, compassionate resource for:
- Children coping with the death of a parent or loved one
- Parents, grandparents, caregivers, counselors, and teachers supporting grieving children
- Families seeking a gentle faith-based message of comfort and hope
