The human being is an extraordinary creature, often regarded as complex synthesis-"beyond" that which is physical. The creation of man is divided into three fundamental aspects: soul, spirit, and body, each playing a pivotal role in the essence of human existence.

The soul encompasses the mind, will, and emotions, housing various faculties that contribute to the creation of man. Among these faculties, we have:

- Imagination plays a crucial role, enabling us to bring forth ideas into tangible realities, or it is what we use to take an idea-something that is non-physical-and turn it into something material.

- Perception-another essential faculty that dictates the manner in which we interpret things-uses both conscious and subconscious processes.

- Intuition-serves as an internal guide, often described as the subtle voice that imparts truth.

- Reasoning facilitates critical thinking, analysis, and comparative evaluation of ideas and events.

- Memory operates as the repository for past experiences, ideas, and information, allowing for learning and reflection.

Moreover, man is fundamentally a spirit, representing the core dimension of human identity. This spiritual aspect is the interface through which men engage with God and the spiritual realm, using the inherent senses of faith, hope, and prayer. The spirit also possesses a subconscious mind.

Man possesses a physical body that interacts with the material world through the five senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. Scientific research indicates that our mental processes, emotions, and will are intricately linked to the body through our endocrine, nervous, and immune systems. Additionally, scripture emphasizes a significant relationship among our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. As noted in Proverbs 17:22, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up bones."
