They say laughter is the best medicine...so why not inject it into your journey as a caregiver? You'll find that when you do, your whole caregiving experience will suddenly transform. Both you and your patient deserve to feel joy, no matter how hard this experience is, and humor is the key to finding it.

You might wonder how on earth you're meant to find humor at a time like this, but help is at hand. This unique guide for dementia caregivers is designed to help you lighten the load with humor -- for the sake of you and your patient.

Former First Lady Rosalyn Carter said, "There are four kinds of people in this world. Those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will become caregivers, and those who will need caregivers." Wherever you fall on this spectrum, you need this book!

Flemming, Gerri: - Gerri Flemming is living the retired life of a Federal employee. She cared for her mother for most of her working life and was compelled to write this book after learning how to lessen her own caregiver stress levels and seeing other similarly situated caregivers still struggling. Now, she finds time to write, paint, travel, and spend time with friends. She achieved a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Professional Communications late in her life, and found those degrees helpful in developing this book. She has volunteered in local care facilities as an Activities Director, sharing the joys of humor and laughter.
