Morgan, Cassandra A.: - Growing up in Utah's West Desert, Cassandra never imagined becoming a writer. Her childhood was filled with adventures-playing with old farming equipment, biking, and directing her younger siblings in impromptu plays. Despite early struggles with reading, she discovered a love for books filled with wisdom about seeing the world through someone else's eyes. Embracing independent learning through homeschooling, she transformed her challenges into strengths. Today, she channels her rich experiences into stories that inspire and resonate with young readers. When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and her husband, Travis, cherishing time with family, and exploring the beauty of Utah and the stories they write together.Johnson, Melanie: - Melanie Johnson was born and raised in Utah.One of her earliest memories is learning how to paint a dinosaur in kindergarten. "I remember feeling very proud when I was finished. From then on, I have dreamt of making art professionally. I would show my mom all the little drawings I made with enthusiasm. She would tell me that she loved how expressive and creative they were. She is the one that encouraged me to become an illustrator!" Melanie pursued her dream of bringing stories to life through art. This is her first time Illustrating a book, and she couldn't be more excited to continue her journey.
