Spano (Andy) is a retired educator and elected official in Westchester County, NY, who has lived, worked and participated through some of the most pivotal moments in modern history. From World War II to the tumultuous 1960s, through the events of 9/11, and the advent of new technologies, Andy has also dedicated himself to supporting the education of children with challenges and using creative solutions to address some unique problems in government. He has received recognition of his achievements, including honorary degrees and the highest honor bestowed by the government of Italy, Cavaliere.
